Our accommodation guests are invited to wander around the property. We suggest you put on some sturdy walking shoes. Please leave any gates you go through as you find them. Enjoy our stunning 360 degree views and sunsets, we never tire of them, even after more than 20 years of living here!

SELF GUIDED FARM TOUR  

Find your thrill on blueberry hill. Starting at the carpark area, walk into the courtyard between the strawbale Hacienda and the corrugated iron Cantina to see what’s in flower in the garden, then follow the wooden decking past the stone wall of the larder to the viewing deck.

 

From here, follow the steps up and then through the top gate to the very top of the hill. You'll see a rancho ridge sign hanging on a 400 year old yellow box eucalyptus. Walk over to the water tanks for the mightiest view in Seymour. Here you may be able to spot Mt Puckapunyal, Mt Piper, Mt William and the Tallarook Ranges. You will also notice the interesting "rice-paddy-like" terracing of our blueberry rows.  

 

Heading back down the hill, take a rest on the big timber slab seating on top of the underground larder while admiring the birdlife. Spot the kangaroos boxing at dawn and at dusk.  

 

Go back to the viewing deck then take a stroll down through the blueberry orchard under the big net and munch on ripe berries in summer. Take a gander at the geese, then check out what's in season in the veggie patch. The chickens will expect you to stop for a chat. 

 

Head down to the dam near the Pickers Shack, then look up! You’ll see the view to the hill top tanks where you started. Take a paddle in the canoe and swim in the dam. Keep an eye out for our frolicking Damara sheep around the property and near the barn at the bottom entry gate.  

From here follow the gravel road behind the dam past the bee hives and back up the hill to where you started. Grab a drink from the Cantina (message us) then pull up a chair in the courtyard and get ready for another glorious sunset.

THE CANTINA 

Our on-farm private cafe, the Cantina, offers breakfast all year round exclusively to our farmstay guests. While during the fresh blueberry season over summer we offer a blueberry cafe dining experience to the general public. The Cantina also contains a licensed bar and all things blueberry for sale including berries, jam and ice cream.
