Blue Tongue Berries present Low Lands, High Roads & Tall Tales. Songs shaped by wind, water and wandering, from the North Sea to Southern Shores. Join us for a unique and intimate afternoon of live music in our off-grid strawbale performance space the Hacienda Lounge.
Low Lands, High Roads & Tall Tales brings together Rich Davies, Mandy Connell and Joyce Prescher – three distinctive folk voices whose North Sea European heritages find expression on Australia's southern shores, calling Melbourne and surrounds home. Brought together around a shared love of the 60s folk revival and the storytelling tradition at the heart of contemporary folk, the format is intimate, dynamic and conversational — part concert, part storytelling circle — with songs interwoven with context, humour and connection. Joined by Craig Kelly on double bass.
