Please note our farm is totally Off-Grid and the majority of our resources are harvested from rain, wind and sun. Power is stored in batteries, and water in tanks. Please be conservative with power, water and gas usage during your stay. Drinking water is only available from indoor taps. Note this shack has a limited power supply in both quantity and maximum wattage available. Please check with us before plugging in any of your own high power devices. Low wattage devices like mobile phones and computers are ok. A steam iron is located in the laundry.

The toilet is a composting toilet and does not require flushing. Please add one or two scoops of sawdust to the compost toilet after use. A spray bottle is available for aiming mishaps. Leave the extraction fan on at all times. Please do not place sanitary items, nappies or flushable wipes in the toilet. Use paper provided to wrap your sanitary items and place in the bin.

Please turn off the gas heater if you go out for long periods of time. We can turn it back on for you at an appropriate time on request. Never leave electric blankets on while you are out or sleeping.

Please note there is no air conditioner in the Shack. Please use room fans as needed. We recommend closing all windows and blinds during hot days and opening them at night as there is a cool breeze most evenings.

The Guest Wifi password is “blueberry”. The TV has chromecast for video streaming and the stereo has airport for audio streaming. Both are labelled The Shack.

Please report any damage to us during your stay or other issues before your departure.

SELF CHECK IN: To find the Shack please go to the Blue Tongue Berries bottom gate at 40 One Tree Hill Lane Seymour.
When you reach the double timber gates at the end of the lane, press the button on the right hand gate post to open the gates. The gates will close automatically after 90 seconds. Make a sharp right turn then follow the road past the dam until you get to the Shack. You'll see a door with a number 5 on it. That's the Shack and it will be unlocked.
